The Moffett Park Specific Plan Update includes a series of technical studies. These studies document baseline conditions in Moffett Park and analyze future conditions on the topics including infrastructure, transportation, climate change, market and economic conditions, and environmental considerations.
Moffett Park EIR Notice of Preparation Posted
In adherence with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), a Notice of Preparation for an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was completed in 2021. Public comments were received between August 18, 2021, until September 17, 2021. The City hosted a meeting for the public to provide comments on the scope and content of the EIR on Thursday, August 26. A recording is available through the City of Sunnyvale City Clerk’s YouTube page. The City Council certified and adopted the EIR and MPSP on July 11, 2023.
sea-level rise
This report discussing sea-level rise and climate change adaptation considers existing flood risks associated with future sea-level rise projections, and pairs it with an integrated and feasible adaptation strategy to address Sunnyvale’s shoreline, groundwater, and infrastructure conditions.
